Āwhitu Collective started with a conversation between a few people who wanted something more -- more connection, more support, more of a sense that we're all in this together. That's still what drives us.

This website explores Rights and Responsibilities, based on the understanding that everyone has indefeasible Rights paired with corresponding Responsibilities. Individuals have the right to make their own choices, while bearing responsibility for the consequences and for causing no harm. It also highlights the proper roles of public servants (such as judiciary and constabulary), who must remain mindful of their duties to the public and always demonstrate courtesy and honourable behaviour.
